Who we are

Amenio ("Amenio," "we," "us") provides equipment rental and guest services — bikes, golf carts, and beach gear — for vacation rentals in Florida's Emerald Coast, Suncoast, and First Coast, in partnership with the vacation rental management companies that manage the properties where you stay. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to amenio.com, the Amenio guest portal, and our text, email, and phone communications.

Information we collect

• Contact and reservation details — your name, email address, phone number, and stay details (property, check-in and check-out dates), provided by you or by the rental management company for the property you booked.
• Verification documents — if you rent equipment that requires them (for example, golf carts), copies of your driver's license and proof of insurance that you upload for verification, and liability waivers you sign.
• Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and order details; we do not store your full card number.
• Communications — text messages and emails exchanged with our team, and phone calls with our support line, which may be recorded for quality and record-keeping.
• Usage information — standard technical data such as device type and pages visited when you use our website or portal.

How we use information

• To deliver, service, and pick up rental equipment for your stay.
• To verify eligibility for regulated equipment (license and insurance review for golf carts) and maintain signed waivers.
• To send service messages about your stay and orders — delivery notifications, document reminders, access codes, receipts, and support replies.
• To process payments, prevent fraud, and maintain records.
• With your consent, to send occasional marketing messages such as re-booking invitations. You can opt out at any time.

Text messaging (SMS)

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from Amenio related to your stay, orders, document verification, and support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help (or call 850-231-8000).

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies and analytics

Our public website (amenio.com and its guides, blog, and partner pages) uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from, and whether a visit leads to a demo request. Google Analytics sets cookies (for example _ga) that give your browser a random identifier so repeat visits can be counted. They do not contain your name, email, or reservation details, and we do not send any of those to Google. Google processes this data on our behalf under its privacy policy. We use analytics for site measurement only, not for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Analytics runs only on the public marketing site. The guest portal, check-in and document pages, and our staff tools are not tracked, and they use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your stay.

To opt out, install Google's browser add-on, block cookies for amenio.com in your browser settings, or use a browser that blocks third-party analytics. The site works the same either way.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• The rental management company for your stay, so they and we can coordinate services at the property.
• Service providers who process data on our behalf — payment processing (Stripe), text and voice communications (Twilio), email delivery (Resend), website analytics (Google Analytics), document processing and cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, Anthropic, Supabase, Vercel, Railway). These providers are bound to use your data only to provide their services to us.
• Legal requirements — when required by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Amenio, our guests, or others.

Retention and security

We keep reservation, order, and communication records for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Verification documents are retained only as long as needed for eligibility and dispute purposes. We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections, access controls, and audit logging — to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

• Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any marketing message.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
